In a professional educational setting changes must be based on data since the complexity of educating young people creates challenges and opportunities and while it may be difficult to facilitate change it may not be impossible. In the school district, available data is shaped for the school principals and the principals in turn shape the data for their teachers, if there is a misalignment within these parties you may develop major challenges (Farrell, 2014). Therefore, care must be taken upon using data-driven decisions to change school culture, so that to implement an upcoming district decision that may change the school culture, the district needs to review current district goals and looks for patterns in the available data. In that what is the impact as it relates to our student’s performance in relation to state standards? In comparison to other students in the state, school district, the nation?
The PLC must agree on how they will assess the results in terms of:
a) Collection and Charting Data
b) Analyzing data and prioritizing the student’s needs
c) SMART GOALS -Specific ᴝ› Measurable ᴝ› Attainable ᴝ› Relevant ᴝ› Time-Bound (Doran, 1981).

In many conversations with other educators, one commonality is that at this present Teacher Instructional Strategies is that at this time in history, immigration is a universal phenomenon. Therefore, teaching the 21st century student is effective excellent teaching across all the differences that our students bring to our classrooms. When a school is preparing for changes within their curriculum they look at the available data and decide how to use it. Educators need to focus on training their teachers to become data literate so that they can analyze that data and make those analytical complex decisions that are needed. The first step upon setting up a PLC which they have Collective Ownership in determining what their instructional focus is? They review:
a) Instructional Methods and Strategies (developing and sharing ideas and resources of learning objectives,
b) Common assessments and successful learning strategies) they will develop, and
c) Discussions of Best Practices by creating positive relationships and respect within our school community.
After the instructional focus the PLC continues by briefly reviewing the schools standard method of teaching and make some changes. The need to change
