Political corruption has ruined all of the greatest empires and it will do the same to the United states. An example of corruption is in the ancient Roman empire. The Roman empire's l leader was Caesar who truly cared for rome and it’s people. Unfortunately other political leaders did not like his policies so they assassinated him. Then shortly after the Roman empire divided and eventually fell due to the greedy. This relates to political campaign spending because the greedy corporations would want to see laws helping their corporation all while funding the political leader to see it through. With less leverage over a politician he would be able to put forth reforms that would benefit society not just one corporation. The millions of dollars that could be spent on a company's workforce instead of a politician's campaign would boost our economy by 10 fold. As well, if a young man’s dream can be heard just as loud as superstar’s dream they could be elected and follow through with a full heart.
