Pima And Maricopa Similarities

The Pima and the Maricopa tribes live on the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Reservation (SRPMIC). The community was created in 1879 by President Ruthford B. Hayes. The three things that I will be comparing and contrasting about the Pima and Maricopa is, farming, war, and languages. To begin with, both tribes are similar in many ways. Both tribes are similar what they form by growing both beans and corn. Most of the men were in the war that’s how their similar. Their languages are similar, some people think the language are difficult to say.
However, the Pima and the Maricopa are different in many ways. The Pima women stayed home during the war. They spoke the Akimel O’odam languages. The Pima women did mostly all the farming.
