I think Jim realizes that he must be adaptable and work with what he has. Jim has appeared to have a decent capacity to construct a decent group to work in the project that is proficient in the diverse territories of the organization. Also, Jim has possessed the capacity to stay cool despite the fact that the organization is putting a great deal of weight on him. These interviews would have been with key partners in the organization. While collecting data through interviews, they also collected data from loyal customers that were recognized by the advertising department. After researching contending organizations, merchants, and trade journals, Jim and his team gathered information about existing systems. First requirement that may have been overlooked may be that the project would be profoundly appealing and propelling to clients. The second requirement might be that the customer version of the system runs effortlessly on a mobile device. The third requirement should permit Petrie Electronics to investigate information and present fundamental statistics upon completion of their investigation. The fourth requirement should provide security of customer data and lastly the fifth requirement should encourage advancement. The constraints may incorporate needs for storage of transactions (meaning many customers would generate a large number of transactions over a few months). Another constraint is to avoid complexity in both the loyalty program and the software system. Lastly, students need take a look at the necessities for the project independently from the requirements for the system. If we were looking for alternative approaches for Petrie’s customer loyalty program, we would have gotten data from several sources, including merchant pamphlets, sales data, industry exchange publications, and company websites. We would presumably begin with a Google search, then data from merchants, exchange journals, and competitors. We would know when we were done when we couldn’t think of any new data about loyalty systems. Petrie’s staff shouldn’t build their own unique system in house because it would be excessively costly and tedious, also, building a system like this in-house is an old fashioned practice and they shouldn’t need to rehash the
