The CDC shows that 0 deaths have been from marijuana, but I believe that is false. By saying that there has been 0 is basically meaning there has not been as many deaths a year caused by marijuana unlike tobacco and alcohol. Unlike marijuana, tobacco has sever withdraw issues that cause people to become addicted and dependent on the nicotine. According to the United States Center for Disease Control, “tobacco smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States, and chronic exposure to tobacco smoke is linked to increased incidences of cancer as well as vascular disease”. Nearly 80% of lung cancer cases are caused by smoking tobacco.
