Daughter, Sister, and Grandaughter are three of the statuses that I have within my family unit. Some of the norms that I learned in this setting are how to stand in line, how to follow directions and meet the expectations of a classroom environment. As a cheerleader and band member I had to attend practice and work hard to help make the team look good by performing as well as I could. As a student I was responsible for doing my schoolwork and homework, following the rules, and helping teachers when needed.
Three statuses that I have had during my teens in the Mass media of the internet are Consumer, Follower, and Friend. Expectation of privacy, terms and policies, transitive trust, and real-time personal interactions are some of the shared norms that I have found to be used during my time spent on the internet. Navigating the internet and being a member of social media sites can be demanding since I am expected to be supportive and courteous to those who I follow, as well as post comments, provide updates, review products and services honestly so as to help
