Orthodox Community Health Issues

The Orthodox Jewish community has many stressors and health issues. One of the common stressors my community faces is financial stressor. Many Jewish families send their children to Jewish privet schools and tuition for most of these schools are expensive. In addition, the Orthodox Jewish community buys kosher food and other religious items that add to the monetary expenses.
Some of the health issues that the Jewish Orthodox community faces are diabetes and heart disease. These health problems are mainly caused by lack of physical activity and poor diet. The Jewish tradition is mostly based on thought and mind activities such as learning and praying, which consists of less physical activities during the day. Diabetes is more genetics based
