“What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul” Mark 8:36 (Dake’s Annontated Reference Bible)? This is a very good verse to consider when making a decision in not only the business world but also your personal life. Business decisions need to be thought out but it should not be at the cost of our spirits and souls. As good, Christians when coming up with a plan in the business world we need to consider others around us, and how these decisions will affect others not only in business but also in our consumers. This paper will talk about organizational strategy as well as a business model and what differences are between the two as well as their similarities.
Organizational strategy “They can strategy an organization strategy is a set of competitive moves and business approaches that management has developed to attract and please customers, compete successfully, capitalize on opportunities to grow the business, respond to changing market conditions, and conduct operations and achieve performance objectives”(Gamble, Thompson, & Peteraf, 2013, p. 3). An organizational strategy is basically actions that the company will take to achieve their overall goals. Upper management usually creates a plan that lower management will adapt so they are successful have meaning the company’s overall goals.
