Organic Food
What does "organic" mean? Is organic food better for you? Organic agriculture, emphasizes the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality, is a production method. Organic food products are produced through using agricultural management practices that promote eating and purchasing healthy. Organic food products used by eco-systems and prohibit, genetically engineered seeds or crops, sewage sludge, long-lasting pesticides, herbicides or fungicides. Next, producing organic food through livestock is a management practices that can promote healthy, humanely treated animals by providing the feed of organically-grown, fresh air and outdoor growing when using no antibiotics or added growth hormones. The last main point is that the food processing practices are protecting the integrity of the organic product, genetically modified ingredients (GMOs) or synthetic preservatives (Stoll, 2015).
The first main bullet point is that organic food is safer, maybe more nutritious than non-organic products. And often have better tasting and texture than non-organic foods. Some articles said that organic production is better for the environment and better treat for animals. Because organic production can reduce environment pollutions in order to continue our earth longer and better. Clearly, organic food has more benefits than conventional food.
