Revolutions have changed dramatically over the hundreds of years, although still caused by a form of Government. Ideas are spread extremely different during the 18th century and in the 20th century partially because of the invention of the internet. Solving the problems in countries can be simple like recounting votes or as drastic as killing your king. These are a few reasons why I chose the Orange revolution to compare with the French revolution. The government is still the cause of all revolution whether peaceful or bloody the government causes it.

King Louis the 16th was forced to move to Paris after the fall of Bastille when the people of France decided to make a form of government in France. In September of 1792 the end of monarchy happened as King Louis the 16th was executed on January 21st, 1793 in Paris and his wife died the October after. During the Orange Revolution, Viktor Yanukovych won the election but was denied the right to be Prime Minister after the people of Ukraine and anyone following the election at home demanded a recount after seeing the unfair tricks Viktor Yanukovych had used. After the recounted votes were in Viktor Yushchenko had won becoming Prime Minister by a 9% lead.
Both of these revolutions were caused by the government but for two different reasons. One was caused because of an unfair king well the other caused because of cheating in the election. These were the reasons as to why the French and Orange Revolution were similar because at the center of every revolution the government will be on one side. Many revolutions are solved in a way so everyone compromises although not all as seen by the French
