The previews of the next episode often show violence between the women. Why? Simple, because people love to watch drama unfold. Instead of showing these women helping each other, building each other up, especially when their husbands aren't there to support them, it shows them tearing each other apart. Most of the women on the show are actually divorced from their husbands, ironic considering the title of the show is “Mob Wives.” What you are watching on television is the version of this mafia lifestyle, that the media wants you to see. These women preach family values, loyalty and respect, yet none of those things are shown on television. However, that doesn't mean their values aren't authentic. Is what we are viewing even the actual reality for these women, or are they just getting paid to promote an unrealistic lifestyle? Here is what I actually know about these women: they are all mothers, they were once married, and they all know what it is like to live with someone who has been involved in the mob.
