I would consent to participating in a laboratory setting. As said before, I have observed in home settings as well as laboratory settings. Many people argue that laboratory settings are not as effective, and yes this can be true in my opinion. Children and parents will most likely always be more comfortable in their home so the observations made in a home setting can be more realistic. But, from observing in laboratory settings, I believe that this research is effective as well. The control that the researchers have over the study allows for a more directed focus. Controlled laboratory settings will also contribute to information to help gain better knowledge about children and their many aspects. As said before, I will always be a big supporter of research like
