In both genocides people are being killed, but for different reasons. In North Korea, citizens are starving to death, children who are fathered by a Non-Korean are killed or their mothers are forced to have an abortion, and people who practice any religion such as Christianity, are put into concentration camps. These ways are different from how the Bangladesh genocide was resolved. Humanitarian organizations are getting involved and trying to help the citizen of North Korea. The United States created an office and its purpose is to focus on what is going on in North Korea. North Korean refugees are sending food and money to their families who were not able to escape. The “World Affairs Journal” article says, “If international humanitarian NGOs, religious groups, philanthropists, and other concerned persons and organizations got behind these defectors in an organized manner to increase the money entering North Korea through unofficial channels, the effects could be transformative.” In Bangladesh, people fled to other counties such as India. After the Bangladesh genocide ended, the government tried to cover it up rather than fix what was damaged.
