One of the most important parts of life is family. There are five people in my family including me, my mom and dad, my little brother and my older sister. My family compared to an Aboriginal Canadian family is a huge difference. In an average aboriginal family there are from 10-14 members. About 50% of Aboriginal children under fourteen live with both parents and 28% lives with a lone parent. The average life expectancy for non-aboriginal people is around 85 years for women and 80 for men. On the other hand, aboriginal canadians life expectancy for women is 75 years and for men is 70. There is quite a difference. Aboriginal Canadians have a much higher suicide rate than non-aboriginals because of drug abuse, lack of housing food, and mainly because of culture. With this in mind, aboriginal canadians are also accounted 21% of the time for all cases of diseases while non-aboriginals are accounted only 13%. Aboriginals have a lot of disadvantages in health.
For entertainment I do a lot of things. This includes, watching YouTube, playing on my PS4 and watching movies. For aboriginals that isn’t common. Aboriginal children usually go hiking, mountain climbing and sometimes dance and sing in campfires! They also play tug a war with friends and family. Not to mention, there comes education The aboriginals education wasn’t the best but was still better than nothing. They sometimes go to a traditional school where they learn the aboriginal history. Not to mention, I go to Macklin.PS. I receive great education and I have fun at the same time. We are lucky because some students don’t even get
