This type of technology could truly benefit those that are healthcare professionals take better care of their clients. Especially, those that lack access to the care they need for those in rural or disadvantage groups, maldistribution of specialist services, and to those that need a straight-forward method of delivering care to homes in the aging population with chronic diseases (Wade, 2014, p. 1). Theresa’s, emergency department it is my job that my client gets the care that he/she needs quickly. In order for me to do that I have to use the Telehealth links with the hospital that is a 1-hour drive away in order to get in contact with the psychiatrist that is located there in their emergency department. The steps I would take to initiate a productive teleconference would be to first off to formulate a successful plan, before heading towards the issue of the problem straight-on.
