In order for me to do that I have to use the Telehealth links with the hospital that is a 1-hour drive away in order to get in contact with the psychiatrist that is located there in their emergency department. The steps I would take to initiate a productive teleconference would be to first off to formulate a successful plan, before heading towards the issue of the problem straight-on. As Wade (2014) states, in order for telehealth to become successful, while in use is know the difference between the enablers and the barriers (p.2). As for our enablers, “well-functioning technology, user training, planned change with provider participation, development of protocols, acceptance by health care providers, support for provider collaboration, use of business model, and supporting policy and legislation.Then with our barriers we must take care of “technical problems, lack of technical support, lack of usability, provider concerns about the quality and ethico-legal matters, absence of protocols, lack of a business model, and regulatory barriers in licensing and standards” (Wade, 2014, p.
