The use of technology has influenced a number of industries, one such industry that has felt the impact of new technology is the health care sector. Within the health care sector, the impact of eHealth has been most beneficial to primary care. EHealth has many different forms (Peate 2013); however, the primary focus to this essay will be on telehealth. Whiles discussing mobile health, the other aspects of discussion will be on multi-agency working, holistic manage of healthcare needs across the lifespan of individuals, carers and families within the community. Furthermore, the essay will look at the application of risk assessment frameworks in primary care and the use of contemporary teaching and learning theories relevant to professional roles in health and primary care. To demonstrate these points evidence from relevant sources such journals, textbooks and government guidelines will be used.
