I was born in Lafayette, Indiana to the parents of Cheryl Griffin and Jon Griffin. My mother, Cheryl, was born in Gary, Indiana but soon moved to Terre Haute. She was a very loving and compassionate mother. If I had to describe her in one word, it would be outstanding. I say that because not only did she take care of her own children but she also took care of my father’s other children as well. My father, Jon, was born in a town in Texas. He was always really strict and angry. My one word to describe him would be explosive. My father would just pop like a bubble anytime my sisters or I did the slightest thing wrong. My mother and father divorced after my little sister Sandy was born. My mother decided this was best because of his anger and …show more content…
I graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School. I had quite a few friends in high school. I wondered from “click to click”, meaning I talked to and hung out with all kinds of social groups such as the “rockers”, “hippies”, and the “preps”. While in high school I got a job at Kroger. I am also enrolled in school at Ivy Tech in Terre Haute with the hopes of one day working with children who can’t help themselves. Alex still works at Advics and I am currently a stay at home mommy. I hang out with my best friend, Ashley Myrtle on a regular basis. In fact, we both go to the gym to try to be healthier individuals. I have an amazing family which is the most important thing in my life. I value family, friends, and good times. There is nothing more important to me. I look forward to what the future holds and can’t wait to see my son
