I named her Luna, and I wanted to train her to be obedient and smart, but things didn 't go as planned. I thought I could teach her to bark at the door when needed to go out and sit and stay when told to. Although it was possible to train her, but it was going to be a lot more work than I had thought. The memory of putting Luna down. It completely changed my life. That moment helped me realize I wanted to help animals. It helped me realize I wanted to be a vet. I 'm in 11th grade now and it 's been two years since we put Luna down and I think about that moment every day, reminding myself that a vet is who I want to be. Without Luna and that memory, I wouldn 't have ever wanted to be a vet. Because of that moment, I chose to do dual enrollment to hopefully help me get accepted into Clemson and to one day help me become the vet I want to
