Question 1. What are your educational and career goals?

I acquired a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and I wish to continue my studies and further my education in the field of business. To obtain a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and advance my career for new opportunities is my ultimate goal. My Bachelors degrees show my passion for health and fitness and I have been working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer for five years. However, the main reason I am seeking the MBA degree is to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge in order to advance my career and potentially manage or run my own fitness business in the future. When I was twelve years old I found my passion for track and field. I fell in love with the sport and have been running since. I ran track in high school and won two State Championship titles. After high school, I continued my passion for athletics and education at University of Wisconsin- Madison, where I earned two Bachelors degrees and competed for university’s track and field program. Competing for Division I school and maintaining the highest GPA on the team demonstrates my commitment, dedication and time management skills. Years of intense work and devotion to the sport of track and field culminated when I earned a chance to compete at the highest stage. I represented my country, Lithuania, at London Olympics, World Championships and European Championships. I gained a lot of valuable experience as an athlete, but I also had an opportunity to coach and teach many young athletes about the sport. I was the head coach for Downers Grove South girls track and field team for three years and lead the team to six Conference Championship titles and two Sectional Championship titles. I also had a chance to coach a two-time State Champion. I am very proud of my achievements in track and field as an athlete but also as a coach. In addition, North Park University offers flexible evening and online courses whose faculty not only shows great educational backgrounds but also possess extensive experience in the business field. I would be thrilled to study in a challenging, but yet flexible and supportive environment. My main goal is to gain top-notch education in business administration and study in a challenging program so I can succeed and advance my career to the next level. I enjoy and love working as a personal trainer as well as a coach, however, I am looking for a new challenge and a change in my career. According to PayScale MBA degree is one of the top graduate degrees with the highest earning potential (2015-2016 College Salary Report). Apart from attaining a valuable degree and education at North Park University, I also hope to have fun, make new memorable experiences, and build lasting connections with the faculty and the peers. I think I would be a great addition to North Park University and would love to contribute to the program.
