I am a 5’11 student-athlete at Clayton Valley Charter High School, I run a 4.51 40-yard dash and weigh 173lbs, so playing football in college would not only be a blessing but also a dream come true. My offseason goals were to gain speed and increase my strength and agility. By gaining the skills of leadership, self-discipline, competitiveness, and commitment, I believe that I can help build upon this amazing campus. One of the things that set me apart from other students and athletes is my willingness to work hard and put in time to comprehend subject matter quickly, which for football would be learning a play book incredibly fast and learning to play multiple positions. I take my work extremely serious. I plan to play football and attend college full-time as a student-athlete at this University. I like this college specifically because I feel I can balance my practice and class schedule well in this atmosphere. This school is a great fit for me because it has one of the top Pre-Nursing programs, in which I plan to major in, and a top notch Sports-Med program in which I plan to minor in. Also while working towards my degree, I will be part of a team that is one of the best in the NCAA Division 1 level, with a coaching staff that can teach me valuable lessons and what it means to really be a man. I put my all into everything I do and commit myself to perfecting my craft, and the faculty

When you look back on pictures of your early childhood, you realize how much enjoyment you had in the past, playing the sport you loved. For me, it was playing softball ever since I was a little girl and watching my sister play ball and longing to be just like her. I remember the long Friday nights that I thought would never end because of practice or the early Saturday mornings waking up at six o’clock to be at the field ready for warm up for another full day of softball. Looking back on those times, I reminisce but do not regret any of those moments. It made me a better person inside and out; it allowed me to develop critical leadership abilities, communication skills, confidence and self-poise that still carry with me today.…

It is my belief that in order to be a part of such a crucial process in a person's health, you must have a passion to help others. It is only logical that you would want to be doing what you are doing because otherwise, you will not put as much effort and dedication into your work. You cannot treat EMT as a regular job or as a job at all because helping people should be like an instinct that just takes over. Although I am still young, my limited exposure around patients, through Level one job shadowing, and actually treating patients, which I have been able to do through Sports medicine, my perspective on the medical field has matured and my passion has…
