The field of business attracts those who are willing to go over and beyond to get the job done, it attracts the relentless few who believe failure is not an option. Working as a manager for a restaurant of a national chain I decided that I wanted more not just to be the manager of one store but to be in charge of number of stores or to work at the corporate offices focusing on growth and development throughout the company. More so, to full fill my dream of opening a fine dining restaurant with the idea to expand both on a national level as well as that of an international one. In this instance most organizations are therefore supported by the operation function, marketing and the financial function. It is imperative that these major functions must interact to achieve the goals of the organization, each one their own cannot function effective to achieve the desired end produce, marketing is not able to meet the needs of its customers if they do not understand what the operation depart can produce as well as finance is unable to forecast the capital investment if they do not understand the needs and concept of the operation.
The question has been asked as to which function is the most important within an organization such as the banking sector, some may say it is marketing other may say sales but to me it is the operating function that is most important. I believe no matter how much emphasis is put into getting the product or services to a consumer the reality hits when where or not that consumer is pleased with the end product that keeps them coming
