During the wolf attack scene: “On the road Belle gets back to the castle, she encounters a pack of wolves. The beast shows up fighting with that group of wild animals along, with full of courage. After saving Belle, they were trapped in a very serious snowstorm, the beast thanked Belle saving his life for willing to come back, and as her presence caused him to realize his own life was not "meaningless" after all.” (Beauty and the Beast, 1991) The actual identity of the beast is a normal human being, who also wants to be loved and wants to love. Once after rescuing Belle from the pack of wolves, he becomes more agreeable and gentle. He even attempts to become civilized again for Belle's sake, instead of eating foods by bare hands, he tries very hard to hold the relatively small spoons and knifes. Belle makes him finally learned to care for other people, not doing anything only according to his own

A classic princess story, Cinderella remains to be one of Disney’s most popular movies. However, what is disturbing is the manner in which this movie imposes gender roles by depicting women in a negative manner. This film seems to be reinforcing the notion that women are weaklings and that the only way in which any society can survive is by upholding male dominance and embracing female submissiveness. The movie begins by showing Cinderella living happily with her parents in a faraway kingdom.…

However, the concept of the story is basically the same throughout, and these similarities lead me to believe that the, oh so famous, movie Beauty and the Beast originated from this tale. The symbolism throughout each story intertwines and creates one powerful theme about beauty.…
