The Walt Disney Company’s original mission/vision statement was such a powerful statement that it is hard to believe that it was only four simple words, “To make people happy”. Today their mission statement is: “To be one of the world 's leading producers and providers of entertainment and information, using its portfolio of brands to differentiate its content, services and consumer products. The company 's primary financial goals are to maximize earnings and cash flow, and to allocate capital toward growth initiatives that will drive long-term shareholder value.” (Investor Relations | The Walt Disney Company)
Although the mission statement does not address their customers or any of their values, they still plan to make people happy by doing exactly what was stated. The Walt Disney Company is mainly focusing on its brands, products and services. They would be able to drive long-term shareholder value by being more financially and brand orientated, and with this they can continue to make us happy by being the world’s leading producer and provider of entertainment.

SWOT Strengths The Walt Disney Company is a globally known company and is listed as one of the best brands of all time. Disney is also known for their involvement with children and amusement parks such as Disneyland and Disneyworld. They are a trusted and much-loved brand.
