There are three basic strategies that most Continuous Quality Improvement boards start with and those are is there any way to improve the process of care given, is there a way to increase our competitive advantage in the community and that all employees are conforming to the new policies and procedures. There are certain functions that define a good management team and they include an understanding of the environment outside of the facility, ensuring that the managers are empowered to improve the quality of the processes in the facility, ensuring that there is a standard that customers are important and that includes their family or support teams, ensuring that there is a well-developed approach, adopting a well thought out philosophy on adapting the environment for change that is needed, setting up tools to ensure the implementation of new policies go smoothly and providing motivation for the approach to process the analysis and change needed in the facility. These are all important parts of the characteristics for improvement in any facility and provide that all the employees are informed of the change and need behind it (Sollecito and Johnson, 2011 …show more content…
The methodological characteristics are the qualities team strategies and steps to ensure a well thought out policy that is easier to implement with all staff members on board to ensure that the new standards are being utilized properly (Sollecito and Johnson, 2011 ). I also think that the three most basic strategies are the most valuable due to amount of information and processes they cover and they are the improvement of the process of care given, increasing the facilities competitive advantage and that all employees are utilizing the new policies and procedures on the floor.
