Employees should cooperate with each other as it reduces the chances of conflicts, confusion and chaos. Workers should have healthy competition with each other instead of spiteful backstabbing, vengeful.

Motivation can be of different types according to the needs of the employees. The basic purpose to motivate an employee is to bring out best from him. It has been noticed that a person works well when motivated. An employee can be motivated by giving incentives, rewards, bonus, appreciation, promotion, respect, fair treatment, pay equity, retirement benefits, diversity etc. These things motivate a person to work hard and achieve individual goals. These five basic needs are social needs, safety needs, psychological needs, esteem needs and self actualization needs.
According to the theory, a person is motivated to work to fulfill his basic need and when he fulfills his one need he moves on to his other need.
According to Maslow, esteem needs are needed, so that a person realizes his self worth. He said if the lower needs are fulfilled then a person is able to realize his self potential.
This theory says that listening to the views of the employees is a crucial need as it creates the sense of belonging in the minds of the workers, which motivates them.
It further says, a person beginning his career will be very concerned with his lower order needs like psychological needs such as wages and security. If these are fulfilled he will be motivated to work and it will result in better outcome.
When these lower needs are not fulfilled, a worker loses his motivation and the sense of security. This is where role of organization is important that it fulfills the lower level needs of a
