Mask Analysis To begin with, the mask I had to create must depict [Lord] Capulet from the novel Romeo & Juliet. The novel depicted Capulet as a wealthy man and the most powerful man in the Capulet family. Since his social status is at the top, I used a mask template which showed royalty and patriarchy. As I created my mask, I wasn’t sure what colors to portray Capulet, so I went over the internet for ideas. One idea I borrowed is from the movie “Romeo + Juliet,” specifically the very beginning of the movie when the Montagues and the Capulets fought. When they fought, the Montagues had a blue logo, while the Capulets had a red logo. Therefore, I used red for my mask and colored around the sides and corners of the mask to resemble which side
