Introduction
Martin Luther King was the American Baptist Minister and the leader of “African-American Civil Rights Movement”. His leadership style is always under praise by several business practitioners and activities. In this assignment, the ethics, evolution of leadership, psychology of leadership, multicultural leadership and leadership theories that business sectors need to practice will be explained in context with Martin Luther King leadership style.

There were no type and category of leadership styles and people used to follow the person who was most influential (Grimm 2015). On the other hand, some individuals were found to manage circumstances and scenarios on contingency basis. Thus, individuals were made to be differentiated among leaders and managers. From then, the leadership styles were categorized such as transformational, transactional, democratic, participative, autocratic and laissez-faire. Followers differentiated leaders and managers and started following the earlier while working under the later.
Psychology of Leadership
One of the main qualities of a leader is to understand the subordinates surrounding him. Martin Luther King was such a leader who had the capability to understand each of the people (Jackson, 2013). Often at several circumstances it has been found that Martin Luther King had the patience to listen the respondents in a debate. His philosophy was to relate the God with and find interest in reconciling personal interests in serving for society (Visual.ly 2016). He had to emotionally go through the immersed black church with pretty profound concerns of topical Protestant theologians.

Transformational leadership starts with the creation of vision. After that individuals are attracted by creating the visualization of ideas to achieve that vision. Transformational leadership always keeps on concentrating the followers and tries to communicate with them (Morris 2015). Such leader knows very well that it is the followers who will carry the leader with them for achievement. Martin Luther King was such a kind of person who had the potentiality to convert listeners into followers. These speeches were too much simplistic and prevocational that individuals were able to relate their problems with the speeches. From the beginning of his vocation in Montgomery in 1955, right all the way through to his death in 1968, Martin Luther King had an extraordinary aptitude to get people, who would or else be continuously feud, to work mutually. One of the most important factors of a transformational leader is to understand the situation by listening.
