America is at War, and believe it or not it started with a movement for peace and equality. The Civil Rights Movement is recognized as one of the most well-known movements that transformed the United States, and it all started with a young man’s dream and his accomplishments along the way. Martin Luther King Jr. accomplished many feats in his quest of relinquishing segregation in the black community, but is his view of peace dying out with the rise of Black Power. The only thing keeping groups such as the Black Panther Party and the Uhuru’s was the success of Martin Luther King Jr.’s campaign. Their reach stems all the way through the Federal Government, in people and areas like Al Sharpton and pretty much every other negro Democrat in office all the way to President Barack Obama. (American) With the rise of black power, Martin Luther King Jr’s accomplishments of a nonviolent crusade are rapidly dwindling as violent crusades sweep the nation at every turn. (Guest) For example, a young black man was shot to death by a police officer, that is only a small fragment of the story, but that is what you will hear from black supremacists. On the contrary, the rest of the story includes scenes of violence from the young black man, Michael Brown, in which he robs a convenience store, attacks the clerk, and also attacks the police officer trying to stop him. (Guest) The media diminishes the truthfulness to these stories and they are all at the hands of stations like CNN, NBC, CBS, etc…., but, these stations are not-so-surprisingly owned and run by democratic dignitaries of the far left or in other words, very close friends with Barack Obama.
