Dr. Martin Luther King is such a hugely looked up to figure in our nation's history because of the incredible injustices he fought, but more importantly because he never lost hope while doing so. King assuredly was living in a remarkably segregated America, and the freedom, dignity, and equality of all races and people that he grappled for did not come easily. However, never was he seen giving up or losing even a shred of hope. Dr. King once said, “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” Leading the citizens of the US with this in mind, was how he become such a prominent figure in history, and someone I aspire to be. For me, seeing a good outcome at the end of every day and at the end of a lifetime can be hard,
