Retail marketing strategy refers to the statement which helps to identify the retailer’s target market, and how retailer plan to satisfy the customer need. Marketing strategy combines the four piece of market mix. The marketing mix is consists of the price, product, promotion and the place.The retail marketing strategy is mainly designed to meet the market by providing the value to the customer. The retail marketing strategy must be outline first in any retail business, and effective or the strong strategy will lead the business to success.
Target is the second largest retail store which is very popular and successful in the business. Every target merchandise varies depending on the store. The most common lines of target include school supply, home supply, electronics, apparel (all age and gender) food, therefore they are trying to target every person. More specifically, the target located in Cuyahoga Falls, OH are trying to target the students, teenagers, age between 30 to 45 years old, couples with children and family usually from low income and medium income level. The target located at Howe Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH provides the customer the frozen and fresh groceries, which attract the the household because they are cheaper than in other retail stores. The teenagers, who mostly likes sports and games, and watching movies also often visit the target store because they sell video games, cycles, movies DVD.
