The year is 1913, it is a cold December night. When a baby girl was born. Her name is Marie Parrish, born to Jeff and Denisa Parrish. It was one of the best days of their life. They took her home, to a very pink room and an excited family members to meet the first born of Jeff and Denisa.
Marie is a 18 year old girl, who is about to graduate high school. She wants to go to college to be a doctor. Marie said” Mom, I know what I want to do after I graduate.”
Denisa said” What do you want to do after you graduate, sweetheart.” “ Mom I want to be a doctor.” saId Marie.
Denisa said” sweetie do you how long you have to go to school to be a doctor?”
Marie said “ yes, mom I know it takes 10 years to be a doctor.”

Daisy continues to tell Marie that She couldn’t do It, but Marie continued you to push harder for her dream. so , Marie fought to make her grades the very best In the class because she wanted the colleges to take her seriously. For what her major was going to be, pre MED is hard to get into already let alone as a woman. Everyday for the rest of the year since she decided that she wanted to be a doctor.
Denisa and Jeff watched their daughter work hard for her dream and they really thought she could achieve her dream. It made them really happy to see her work hard for what she wants. They watched her grow and mature as a person . Marie’s drive to strive for her dreams.

She was very excited about going to NYU. It is almost time for graduation and then after the summer, she would be headed to NYU. she could not wait to find out who her roommate was. 1941, she was in an army camp in Germany treating soldIers for their wounds. She was living the dream of helping others. One day, she was on shift thIs very handsome officer named Garrett walked in with a gunshot wound. Marie saId “thank you.” he started to play with her hair. He just had a starry eyes. He fell for her right after she spoke to him for the first time. Love is war. Anything worth living is a fight because people and other things will try to take it
