Silvia’s future looks promising in El Salvador. After finishing high school she enrolled in college She was living with her parents at the time, and working part-time job at a fast food restaurant. The time to make an important decision came. She has three siblings. Being Silvia, the youngest one, one of her siblings that had moved out of the country invited her to come visit her in Indiana.
It was Silvia's dream on becoming a nurse so she enrolled in college so she can fulfill her goal of becoming a nurse. Her mother Maria knew about Silvia’s dream. So Maria was the one that encourages and motivates Silvia to pursue her dreams on becoming a nurse. Silvia’s family is integrated by her three siblings, mother Maria and her father
