Luge Suit Research Paper

In luge, many tracks lack start houses. Athletes are left in the cold wearing paper-thin suits, under which are only t-shirts and tight fitting shorts. When we get cold, we get stiff. This results in a struggle to drive our sleds properly, leading to a higher chance of crashing. Frustrat-ingly, we’re unable to wear anything thicker underneath our suits because anything too thick will lead to us being far less aerodynamic, and, in consequence, making us slower.
To solve this dilemma, I came up with a suit of my own. Preferably, this suit would be both thinner and warmer than the average luge suit. In order for this project to work, an ultra-thin insulator would be needed as well as a very comfortable, yet thin fabric. If it were to work properly,
