Curley's wife had a huge life ahead of her. She could have went to college and made a really good amount of money. Things changed, she lived at home and was waiting to get a letter for an acception to go to the college of her dreams. She thought and still thought up to the end of the book that her mom threw it away. Curley's wife later moved out of her moms house and met curley, who she would soon marry and spend a lot of her time with him. She doesn't live a good life tho, Curley is always doing something and not paying any attention to her. Curley's wife once said “Sure I gotta husband, you all seen him, swell guy, aint he? Spends all his time saying’ what he’s gonna do to guys he doesnt like, and he dont like nobody, think i'm gonna stay in that two by four house and listen how Curley's gonna lead with his left twit”. This goes to show that she doesn't have anyone in her life that she feels like matters to her. Curley's wife is the only girl on the ranch and she tends to go overboard and do some things that you wouldn't seem to be
