Aggie breathed in the fresh air of the country; trying to adapt to it. She missed the city. Aggie missed being so close to everything; when it only took minutes to get wherever she needed. When she could walk to the store or to the nearest restaurant. Now it took twenty minutes just to get to the nearest town by car, and once you got to town you wouldn’t be impressed. The small town consisted of only two restaurants; a McDonald’s to the west of the church, and a small family owned BBQ hut that barely fit four tables and the counter inside of it. The BBQ hut was to the North of the church. The residents of this town, known as Livensburg, or “Liverburg” because of its famous fried chicken livers, were cold and didn’t interact with the newcomers.
