Li travelled to Beijing for a better education and to help his family with their poor situation. “(He) had been determined to get out of that deep, dark well. (He) would have sacrificed (his) own life to help (his) family…” Li has left the comfort and protection of his home with his selfless act. He has put his family in front of his own desires.
