Joan of Arc had several names throughout her years of life and after she passed. Some of the names given to her or that she went by were “Jehanne la Pucelle, Joan the maid, Jeannette, Joan, and of course Joan of Arc. “She led the armies of France to several victories during the Hundred Years War (Maid of Heaven)”. Religious beliefs were important during this time and Joana believed in the Catholic faith. She confessed a lot and as always on her knees praying. Joan was born in Domremy which is located in France. No one is really sure about when she was born. She seemed to be around nineteen years old during the year of 1431.
