Currently, mankind has yet to standardize the quality of life for all naturally conceived humans, thus the probability of humans coming to an agreement on what clones are and are not entitled to as clones will be very difficult. Thus we cannot clone anything that we full do not understand nor agree on. We would have to first come to an understanding on important issues such as abortion, or same-sex marriage before we can toss something else into the equation. In conjunction with the ignorance of the definition of a human, there are other conditions that are not favorable for legalizing cloning. Take these five examples, the cost vs. the need of clones, the consumption of those resources and the effects on other humans, the reality of clones becoming secondary class citizens, who would have access to human cloning and last but not least a clone uprising.
