If you enjoy an adrenaline rush then rodeo might be an excellent sport for you to experience. Even though rodeo can be dangerous, the adrenaline rush and excitement of it is well worth it. Since there are always rodeos going on year round; rodeo is an excellent sport for everyone. When arriving at a rodeo, the best view around is in the saddle and looking at the arena. The participant tells him/herself that when he/she gets inside that arena that they are going to do their job and the horse is going to his/hers and together they will have a nice, clean run. The smell of the arena gets his/her heart racing and adrenaline rushing. The horse and he/she are a team, they work together, they win together, and they lose together. Participants love participating in rodeos and being apart of rodeo teams, the excitement is unexplainable.

The winner of barrel racing can be determined by thousandths of a second. Navigating the designated pattern was a huge factor in determining the riders score and now barrel racing is all about speed. The barrel racing pattern is now known as the clover leaf pattern and has alternated with the figure eight pattern.
