If you enjoy an adrenaline rush then rodeo might be an excellent sport for you to experience. Even though rodeo can be dangerous, the adrenaline rush and excitement of it is well worth it. Since there are always rodeos going on year round; rodeo is an excellent sport for everyone. When arriving at a rodeo, the best view around is in the saddle and looking at the arena. The participant tells him/herself that when he/she gets inside that arena that they are going to do their job and the horse is going to his/hers and together they will have a nice, clean run. The smell of the arena gets his/her heart racing and adrenaline rushing. The horse and he/she are a team, they work together, they win together, and they lose together. Participants love participating in rodeos and being apart of rodeo teams, the excitement is unexplainable.
Spectators that have gone to watch or participants that have participated in a rodeo will never forget the pride they felt as the banners were ridden around the arena as the participants followed and settled in the center of the …show more content…
Barrel racing is the only women's event ever known for quick turns, high speeds, and edge of your seat excitement. This event has certainly evolved over time into a much bigger event. Barrel racing first came about in the 1930’s and still goes on today. When barrel racing first started the speed was not considered as important as it is today. The winner of barrel racing can be determined by thousandths of a second. Navigating the designated pattern was a huge factor in determining the riders score and now barrel racing is all about speed. The barrel racing pattern is now known as the clover leaf pattern and has alternated with the figure eight pattern. The key to having a good and clean run is building a strong bond between you and your horse, once you got a strong bond. The horse will take care of you then it is all trial and
