Jack London once said,¨ The proper function of man is to live, not exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.¨ The quote states that you shouldn't live a boring life, you should enjoy life and do crazy things until your last breath. Extreme sports are a good way to do these things because you can be fascinated, be a little terrified, and have some goosebumps. Extreme sports are dangerous, but they bring us that adrenaline rush and happiness. There are so many different extreme sports and some of the most dangerous are Wingsuit Flying and Base Jumping. Most people should try extreme sports and have some fun with them.

According to “The World’s Dangerous Sports,”In the U.K., for example, angling kills more people each year than any other sport, due to drowning, but it is by no means deemed extreme.” A lot of people die from these sports and cave diving has killed more 500 people since 1960. Geoffrey Robson who was a qualified mechanical engineer and mathematician died from one of his favorite extreme sports, Wingsuit Flying. “All extreme sports are dangerous, some more than others, and Wingsuit Flying and BASE Jumping are probably the most dangerous of all,” according to “A Solemn Warning to Wingsuit Flyers.” Wingsuit Flying killed 71 out of 75 people from 1930 to 1961. However, most people who do extreme sports take years of training on how to handle these situations. These people care for the nature and they are aware of their surroundings.

Extreme sports can be beneficial in so many ways which is why everyone should try them. One way of how they are beneficial is because they can calm down kids with autism. Also extreme sports aren't dangerous due to most people being professionals and they know how to react and handle severe conditions. Most people do extreme sports because of how they feel towards them and their love for exploring nature. Extreme sports can change your life from being bad to good in just seconds.
