Stakeholders: a person or group that has an investment, share, or interest in something, as a business or industry. In other words, a stakeholder is a private sector who invest and supports an agency, or in this situation the FBI. The FBI has a few stakeholders. Between its stakeholders, the FBI agency shares valuable information like threats, incidents, consequences, and vulnerabilities in order to help increase awareness. The FBI agency shared the document "FBI Information Sharing and Safeguarding Report 2012," which identifies the FBI 's stakeholders as well as their missions. The Domestic Security Alliance (DSAC) is a strategic partnership between the FBI and the U.S Private sector "to promote the timely and effective exchange of information. DSAC mission is preventing, detecting, and investigating criminal acts"( InfraGard partners with the FBI, state and local law enforcement agencies, academic institutions, associations of businesses, and other organizations as well. The purpose of Infragard is to promote ongoing dialogues to its members and the FBI in order to investigate thoroughly. The Cyber Initiative Resource Fusion Unit partners with the FBI. Together, their mission is to share important information and collaborate on security breaches as well as identifying cyber threats.
