Influential leadership is the ability of a leader to encourage action in others simply through mastering the skills of communication and motivation of a person to do an action or behave accordingly. Powerful leaders have the ability to form history, and only few influential leaders have the distinction of truly changing the word. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Osama Bin Laden were both influential leaders, and they had big impact on the world. Both were powerful religious, political legends and both fight for justice and freedom of nations. However these two religious, political leaders had an extreme different approach and ideology in leading the nation and approaching to their goals.
Both leader were born in upper class families, and they were fortunate to receive a comprehensive education; however, their family lifestyle and education shaped their values, personality and approach to life differently. Gandhi was born in Parbandar, Gujarat, in North West India, on 2nd October 1869, into Hindu Modh family. His father was the Chief Minister of Parbandar, and his mother’s religious denotation meant that his upbringing was infused with the Jain pacific teachings of mutual tolerance, non-injury to living beings and vegetarianism. In May 1883, the 13 years old Gandhi was married to 14 years old Kasturbai Makhanji Kapandia in am arranged child marriage, according to the custom of the region.
