Influential leaders Karamchand Gandhi and Osama Bin Laden
Influential leadership is the power of a director to encourage movement in a team or group just through developing the ability of motivation and communication of a person to do an action or behavior accordingly. Powerful leaders have the ability to form history, and only few influential leaders have the distinction of truly changing the word. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Osama Bin Laden were both influential leaders, and they had a big impact on the world. Both were powerful religious, political legends and both fight for justice and freedom. Despite the fact that both were extreme religious political leaders, they had an extreme different approach and ideology in leading people and approaching to their goals.
Both leaders were born in upper class families, and they were fortunate to receive a comprehensive education; however, their family lifestyle and education shaped their values, personality and approach to life …show more content…
Both leaders were using religion as an essential tool and principle while guiding people. Gandhi advocated an inclusive religious perspective, and believed the highest ideals in religion lead to the path of absolute nonviolence. In contrast, Bin Laden has concocted a militant and exclusive interpretation of Islam, and tried to justify some of the most barbarous acts of terrorism witnessed at the turn of the century. It’s amazing how two individuals who were both claiming to be religious leaders could be at such extremes. Gandhi devoted his life to the huge objective of discovering truth. Learning from his own mistakes and following Buddhist notions of peacefulness, nonviolence, global love, and prevention of killing. Moreover, he include Christian-Islamic ideas of equality, the brotherhood of man and the theory of turning the other cheek.
