Colossians 3:22-24 “Slaves, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ”. As individuals and Christians we are have a job to do on this earth. We go to college, get a degree, and work but the question to be answer here is if we really love our job? I hear a lot of people be so dissatisfied about their current job that I ask “Why do you keep working in this profession if you hate it so much?” Many people have their reasons on why they might hate their job but always comes with an excuse on why they can’t leave their profession.
I’m a Deputy Sheriff for my local county. I work with people every single day and love my job. I wouldn’t trade it in the world. As there are a lot of people in my department that love what they do we also have some “cancers” that goes around and find things to complain about. These individuals bring a negative light and causes other people want to leave the department because of the things they may say or do. With everything that is going on now in Law Enforcement the last thing we want to have is job dissatisfaction throughout the department.
