On Thursday evening before six o’clock, Patrick Maloney arrived at home while his wife, Mary, was anxiously awaiting for him. The investigators and the police found one of them was drinking whiskey since it was found on the table nearly empty. Patrick repeatedly told Mary he was very stressed and tired from work. Mary planned to kindly make supper for Patrick. They did not have enough food for supper. This led Mary going out to the grocery store to buy vegetables. When Mary returned, Patrick was lying on the floor with the top of his head bleeding. Investigators examined there was no other injuries besides the scar on the top of his head. The police mentioned it would be very unlikely for Patrick to have fought someone and end up with a bruise
