How Is Macbeth A Good Leader

Being a leader is hard, but somehow they make it seem easy. I am not a leader, but I have seen leaders make their job look effortless. When you start to learn more about their job it seems harder than it looks. After reading Macbeth by William Shakespeare, I would agree Macbeth tried to make being a leader appear simple yet he failed miserably. Macbeth was a good soldier in the beginning of the book since he showed he was loyal to his country. He fought for his country and respected the king. Macbeth encountered three Witches, and that’s where everything started to go downhill. Macbeth believed in the prophecies the three Witches gave him, which were “Macbeth! Macbeth believes the prophecies considering he was announced to be Thane of Cawdor. He then becomes Thane of Cawdor by killing king Duncan who was the king at the time. He shouldn’t have killed him even though he announced his son was going to be king. This is the first reason Macbeth would not have been a good king. The second reason Macbeth wouldn’t have been a good king since he wanted to kill to get his way. I have never seen or heard of a good leader who kills to get his way. These leaders usually failed due to the people, since they will want the leader to stop. For example, Macbeth had killed Duncan to get the throne since he was convinced from his wife to kill Duncan. Then he became the king after his two sons ran away. Someone who is a good leader for a country shouldn’t have had to kill to become king. They shouldn’t be selfish like Macbeth was.
