Macbeth and Scar from The Lion King are similar because in the beginning of Macbeth, King Duncan’s death is planned when Macbeth is told by the three witches that he can claim the throne if Duncan passes away before Malcolm becomes old enough to rule. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth both plan the murder of King Duncan. After King Duncan is pronounced dead his son fleas out of town worrying that he might be next on the list. The Lion King was supposed to be based off of Hamlet in the first place but somehow seems to make more sense when comparing it to Macbeth, for insistence, in The Lion King we have Scar (who is playing Macbeth) who wants to get rid of Mufasa because he wants to take over the Pride Land with the help of the hyenas (who are playing the three witches) before Simba turns old enough to take over. Macbeth himself is type of person who wants to be in control of everything and will do anything in his power to have it like that. He wants to be king so bad that he is willing to plan a murder with his wife so he can get his way. Some of the words that represent Macbeth are guilt, desire, and ambition. He carries a lot of guilt around with him after he decides that it would be a good idea to plan someone's death just so he can become king. If you want something that bad then you can always find a different way to get it besides killing someone and taking their life. His desire is to become king so in order to do that he kills someone so he can get his way. And last but not least he is very ambitious. He has a very strong desire to kill Duncan so he can become king, which he achieves that goal. Of course it took hard work to plan a death because we all know that is not easy but that is just part of being an ambitious person, hard work and dedication to complete a task. Macbeth quotes in the
