High School, it’s the best of times and the worst of times. There are many things that happen during those four years of your life. Friends come and go like the seasons, grades go up and down like an elevator. Most of all you change a ton during high school, well at least I did. How I changed during high school will effect my future more than anything and this is why. When I started high school I was like any other boy going to St. Francis, I was cocky and nervous but I acted tough so I would make a tough first impression. When I first went to St. Francis I knew quite a lot of people there since my brother was a Jr. my freshman year. I believe that played into my actions, also i had a few good buddies come to St. Francis with me from St. Joe’s Sylvania. I was never a strong student or I never really tried hard in the classroom. I was never a good student, and freshman year really showed that. By the time 4th quarter came around i had a 2.4 gpa and I dug myself a pretty deep hole. Lacrosse was the only thing that ever kept me afloat, I would always seem to pull my grades up enough right before the lacrosse season in order to be eligible to play. All of my friends were constantly working hard in the classroom and were always busy with school work, so I began to drift off to find the group of kids like me who never did homework and were always able to hangout.
