There were 44,359 homeless people in Los Angeles County and 25,686 in the city itself, according to the Los Angeles Homeless Services. Homelessness damages the people affected mentally and physically like through their lost of skill. The inability to find the job because the fear of being judged on by the people around you because of a persons appearance. This issue should be more looked upon as basic human needs like Access to permanent and adequate shelter are not available to many across the country in their daily live. In our society the money is being generated only towards the working class and the homeless are not even looked upon by the government. By not giving the chance less fortunate to get jobs because of where they sleep at night is denying someone from a second chance and to get back on their feet. The government should be put more concern into this growing problem because no one deserves to live on the street and everyone should be able the opportunity at success in any way possible. Homelessness damages people 's resilience, self-esteem and self-confidence so there needs to be an end.
