The mentoring program provides employees with a sense of accomplishment and a sense of self worth. This would increase employee satisfaction and would increase moral. Since seasoned employees are the ones who are the leads in the mentoring programs you would assume that they are the ones who are fully trained and engulfed in the company culture. Because they have been a part of the values for a number of years they will continue these values in the training and mentoring that they do for new employees. Since the performance management system is based upon the values of the company the mentors can guide their mentees toward incorporating these values into their work ethic.
