This is again a very weak and unsupported claim as the argument doesn’t demonstrate any correlation between the eating habits of Asians and Americans. To illustrate Americans eat high protein food like beef and pork, while Asians eat spicy rich food which has high nutritional values. However it turns out that soy contains phytochemicals called isoflavens, which have been found to possess disease preventing properties. It is not at all clear that the Isoflavens can prevent the chronic fatigue and chronic depressions. Rather it simply stated as the disease preventing properties.
Finally, the argument should provide with additional information about the causes for chronic depression and fatigue in the North America. It should also provide the information about the disease preventing properties that soy possess. Without convincing answers to these questions, one is left with the impression that the claim is more of a wishful thinking rather than substantive
